H Dupont Coloured Water-based Gutta – 25ml

Gutta forms a barrier on the silk by blocking the silk fibres.  Gutta outlines prevent the spread of dyes so colours don’t mix with each other and your design remains clear and precise.  This water-based gutta is ready for use.  For drawing thin and precise lines fix a screw nib on the spout.

To heat fix the gutta, iron (not steam) the silk on the wrong side for 2 to 3 minutes before steam-fixing the silk dye.
