Manutex F

Manutex F for silk, wool and cotton.  Manutex F is a sodium alginate powder.  It’s a thickener made from kelp seaweed.   You mix it with water to make a paste, add dye and use it for printing.  It can be used with procion mx dyes (fibre reactive dyes) and is easily washed out of fabric after fixing.

Use 40-60g per litre of print paste depending upon desired viscosity.

You can vary the thickness of the paste by adding more or less powder.  For a lighter weight fabric use a thicker paste.  For a heavier weight fabric use a thinner paste.

250g
