Satin Crepe Silk (Crepe-backed satin) is opulence and desire incarnate. A timeless, luxurious silk, it has a shimmering satin weave front with (like its name suggests) a crepe-like weave back. Both sides are equally beautiful however, and can be used as the right side of a garment. Add to this the silk's impressive tensile strength and delightfully sumptuous feel and the satin crepe silk becomes an unmistakable feast for the senses.

An elegant, versatile silk with some natural elasticity that is suitable for scarves, blouses, nightgowns and lingerie. The heavier 22 mm silk may be used to make silk pillowcases.
