Dyers Chamomile is a daisy belonging to the Anthemis Tinctoria family. Size: 50g

Dye colour The dried flowers give anything from soft cream (without mordants) to warm, strong yellows and olive green. You can also use the stalks and leaves for greener shades. It can also be mixed with madder for tangerine orange colours.

 Mordant For protein fibres - use alum mordant at 15% WOF. For cellulose fibres - mordant with tannin at 8% WOF and then alum at 15% or aluminium acetate at 8% WOF.
