Undoubtedly the most distinctive of our silks, Silk Noil has a naturally rustic character. Its matte surface, soft drape and gently nubby texture give it an organic, relaxed feel, while remaining strong and versatile enough for everyday wear and creative use. Made from pure silk and poplin, Noil is undyed and free from factory finishes, allowing it to absorb dyes easily and evenly. Stronger than cotton, it’s a durable fabric suited to garments that are worn and loved. Also, very popular for embroidery and soft furnishings.
