Buying fabrics online has one disadvantage - you can't touch and feel the fabric! Silk samples are available. Each sample is a 20 cm in length by the width of your chosen silk.
The width of Silk Cotton Voile and Silk Chiffon is 140cms. The width of most other silks is 114cms.
