Myrobalan Light

Myrobalan Light is from the ground nuts of the Terminalia chebula tree.  It can be used as a dye or a mordant as it contains high levels of tannin.

Dye colour

Yields soft yellows and as a predye with Indigo for teal greens.

Mordants

• For protein fibres – use alum mordant at 15% WOF.
• For cellulose fibres – mordant alum at 15% WOF.
